I'm Dan Pickett and this is my professional introduction.
I have a proven capacity to manage large technical setups that includes computers, mobiles, and other accessories. This includes a demonstrated record of data upgrades, migrations, and utility across complex settings. I'm highly skilled at engineering software configurations and an expert in constructing operational processes and policies that simplify and streamline workflows. I am well-versed in eliminating procedural errors and highly proficient with social media marketing and rebranding tools. I am an articulate communicator and exhibit outstanding inter-personal, relationship-building skills at all levels.
But here's what you really want to know...
A seasoned tech enthusiast with a deep love for people, problem-solving, and technology. With over three decades of experience in the industry, I thrive on turning complex challenges into simple, elegant solutions. My passion for technology extends far beyond the office – I see it as a way to connect people, enhance lives, and make the world a more efficient place. But there's more to me than just code and servers. When I'm not working on the latest project, you can find me in the kitchen experimenting with new recipes, in the garden cultivating life from the soil, or exploring new destinations and cultures. I’m also the go-to person for a fun fact or two, delighting friends and colleagues with my arsenal of trivia that’s as varied as my skills in tech. Whether it’s designing a system, solving a critical problem, or impressing a dinner party with culinary creations and random trivia, I approach everything with enthusiasm, curiosity, and a desire to make every moment count.
